Well you know Ray and I, we don't like to overdo things!
We have started our 2012 cruise with a mere hour up to Batchworth, and we are taking a day off tomorrow :-)
The day off is because my brother is coming to visit so we will catch up on the gossip, then go for a few beers and a bite to eat. Our cruising proper won't start until Wednesday as we plan to move up to Cassiobury on Tuesday and visit Bob and Babs.
Today's journey 1 mile and 1 lock
So far this year we have travelled 17.1 miles and 20 locks
In 2011 we travelled 461.4 miles, 444 locks, 3 swing bridges, 34 lift bridges and 15 tunnels
During 2010 we travelled 740.3 miles, 642 locks, 53 swing bridges, 4 lift bridges and 25 tunnels.
Since Ray retired we have travelled 1218.7 miles, 1106 locks, 56 swing bridges, 38 lift bridges and 40 tunnels
